Cordelia Fishbar, located at 550 Morse Street NE in Washington, DC's Union Market neighborhood, offers a unique dining experience, and features a global seafood-centric menu with a focus on cooking with charcoal.
Cordelia, a name whose origin in some Celtic cultures means “daughter or heart of the sea”, draws on regional culinary influences from Spain, Portugal, Asia, and the Americas – focusing on areas that use high heat charcoal to coax the best out of fish, alongside a diverse offering of conserva, crudo and cured seafood.
This new restaurant is poised to become a culinary destination for Union Market neighborhood residents and visitors alike with nearly 7,500 square feet and 250 seats including a large classic bar, seasonal sidewalk dining, and private and semi-private event space.
